Healing With Whole Foods
This is the perfect self-help book on healing through nutrition. For me, I classify it as “mid to upper-level laymen’s nutrition bible”. If you dare to learn more about the healing effects of foods as well as practical information for what to prepare and eat (including recipes) this book is incredible. It takes a comprehensive and holistic approach, to nutrition including clear discussions on how physical and emotional conditions are affected by the foods we put into our bodies. It also includes information about what to include/eliminate in the diet and how foods affect the onset of disease and the body’s functioning and healing potential. Healing With Whole Foods is extremely comprehensive and explains the medicinal use of foods and nutrition in easy to understand ways that integrates Eastern nutritional practices. I’ve consulted this book to many times to count!
